Aimée Finlay (b. 1999, Scotland) is an artist whose vocation is metal casting, exploring
themes of repetition, ritual, and the tension between durable materials and ephemeral
forms.
Finlay’s art stems principally from discovering the foundry while studying Art &
Philosophy at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design. She continued to hone
her technical and conceptual approach to casting at Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop,
where she was a graduate studio awardee (2022-2025).
